BLS Economic News Release: CPI for All Items Rises 0.3% in December; Gas and Shelter Prices Rise, Food Prices Flat

Bureau of Labor Statistics 01/18/2017 On a seasonally adjusted basis, the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers increased 0.3 percent in December after rising 0.2 percent in November. The index for all items less food and energy rose 0.2 percent in December, the same increase as in November. Bureau of Labor Statistics Sept. jobless rates down in 7 states, up in 1; payroll jobs up in 14 states, down in 3 10/21/2016 In September, unemployment rates were significantly lower in 7 states, higher in 1 state, and stable in 42 states and the District of Columbia. BLS Economic News Release - December 18, 2015: BLS Nov. jobless rates down in 27 states, up in 11; payroll jobs up in 35 states, down in 14

In November, 27 states had over-the-month unemployment rate decreases, 11 states had increases, and 12 states and the District of Columbia had no change. Nonfarm payroll employment was up in 35 states and the District, down in 14 states, and was unchanged in Montana. HTML | PDF | RSS
