Facebook said personal data of most users has been collected, shared with outsiders
The acknowledgment by the social network, which has 2 billion users, dramatically raised the stakes in a privacy controversy that has dogged the company for weeks. Facebook added that information on up to 87 million users, mostly living in the United States, was improperly obtained by Cambridge Analytica without their permission.

Trump to send National Guard to U.S.-Mexico border; troops could arrive as soon as tonight
President Trump will sign a proclamation to send National Guard troops to assist Border Patrol agents. They will remain until laws are passed to close “loopholes” that the administration says allow certain undocumented immigrants to stay in the country and the “catch-and-release” policy is ended, said a source familiar with the plan.

Trump instructs military to prepare to withdraw U.S. troops from Syria
