U.S. Stock Market Future Indications Update - January 15, 2016: Dow Futures Down 350 Points as Oil Breaks Under $30.

Stock futures were skidding once again Friday, as oil prices dropped below $30 a barrel and Chinese stocks entered bear-market territory.
The selloff worsened after a series of disappointing U.S. economic data. The Empire State factory index declined sharply in January to its lowest level since the recession. The cost of producing goods and services dropped again in December, locking in a 1% annual decline for 2015, while retail sales declined 0.1% in December.

USITC Institutes Section 337 Investigation of Certain RF Capable Integrated Circuits and Products Containing The Same
The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) has voted to institute an investigation of certain RF capable integrated circuits and products containing the same.  The products at issue in the investigation include RF receivers, RF transmitters, RF transceivers and products containing the same such as smartphones and tablets.

BLS | Producer Price Index News Release - January 15, 2016: PPI For Final Demand Decreases 0.2% in December; Goods Decline 0.7%, Services Rise 0.1%.

The Producer Price Index for final demand decreased 0.2 percent in December. Final demand prices increased 0.3 percent in November and fell 0.4 percent in October. In December, prices for final demand goods declined 0.7 percent and the index for final demand services advanced 0.1 percent.

With oil falling below $30 a barrel for more than just a moment this time, leading shares are heading lower once more.
Commodity companies are among the main fallers, as poor lending data from China reinforces the recent fears about a slowdown in the world’s second largest economy.

Wall Street was setting up for a struggle on Friday, with stock futures falling sharply as China entered a bear market and oil prices traded below $30 a barrel.
Some distraction could come from the banking sector, which begins to report results in earnest on Friday. Economic data, which includes updates on retail sales and the state of New York manufacturing, could also give cues.
