Stocks and Markets in the News | Brazil Market: Brazilian stocks pull back from multi-month high

LOS ANGELES (MarketWatch) — Brazilian stocks fell Wednesday, with the benchmark pulling back from its best level in more than four months on dampened expectations for the outcome of an upcoming summit to address Europe’s debt troubles.
Brazil’s Ibovespa BR:BVSP -1.41%  fell 1.4%, with pressure on steel, finance, home building and telecom stocks. Miner Vale VALE -3.76%   BR:VALE5 -3.08%  fell 3.3% and Brasil Telecom BTM -4.99%  led decliners, down 6% as the shares face their first loss in six sessions.
